TAYLOR SWIFT AND COLBIE CAILLAT TOGETHER

For her next album, Q104 artist Taylor Swift teams up with Q104 pop phenomenon Colbie Caillat for a song. Taylor is pretty fond of Colbie and says she’s amazed with her vocal talents. Colbie will head to Nashville to add her vocals to the track when Taylor records the song. No word on when the album will be released.

TAYLOR HICKS GETS DROPPED?

According to a post on Entertainment Weekly's Hollywood Insider blog, American Idol season-five winner Taylor Hicks is the latest Idol to end their relationship with J Records. Just weeks after season-two champ Ruben Studdard announced his split with the label, an unnamed source told the site that Hicks is going to record his next album on his own, because "he is no longer on the J Records roster." According to the site, a spokesperson for J Records could not be reached at press time.

NORAH JONES BREAKS UP WITH BOY

According to the New York Post, singer-songwriter Norah Jones has broken up with her boyfriend, Lee Alexander, who also happens to be the bassist in her band. Norah’s people have not commented on the rumor. Jones’ latest album, Not Too Late, was written entirely by Anderson and her.
