Bart Simpson invades the CBS EARLY SHOW!

As a sick and twisted rite of passage, I got woken up this morning by Producer Nick from Wilde and Fee, and told that I was going to go down to the CBS early show broadcasting live from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My mission was to get the Q104 LOGO on national all while wearing a Bart Simpson costume in honor of the opening of the new Simpsons movie this weekend. We video taped the whole morning and will have it up on QTUBE soon. In the meantime, enjoy thses pix from my, uh, Bart's trip to the CBS Early Show.

Ten days out of rehab, Lindsay was arrested AGAIN last night in Santa Monica, California and was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and in possession of Cocaine! Has no one learned from Paris Hilton? Lindsey was released on $25,000 bail, and is currently being treated for idiocy.

Bowling For Soup at Dave and Busters!

Last night was the first annual Q104 listener appreciation party! Allan Fee and I served as hosts, and 104 lucky Q104 listeners got a chance to meet Bowling for Soup and see a live acoustic show at Dave and Busters. The show was a lot of fun and the guys from Bowling for Soup were hysterical!!! Here are some pix from the event.

My new crush!!!

So... a new artist, Mozella, stopped by the Q Studios this past thrusday and she could not have been cooler! It turns out that Mozella and I grew up just 5 minutes away from each other outside of Detroit. We chatted for a while and I'll be honest, I was smitten by her (I think Producer Nick from Wilde and Fee also had a little thing for her!) World's Tallest Meets World's Smallest!

Check this out! The worlds tallest man measuring up to 7'9" met the worlds shortest man measuring down to 2'4"!! I saw the picture on foxnews.com and had to post it! The only thing more entertaining than the pic is the fact that world's shortest man is named 'He Pingping!' Do you think his brother is named 'He PingPong?'

Kruz Parents....

Last night was Relationship Thursday on Q104. Kathy Dawson (our resident relationship coach) suggested that every child have picture of their parents together in their bedroom at all times. I confessed that while I have a picture of my entire family together, I do not have one of just my parents. Mom and Dad Kruz listening in Detroit (they stream on Q104.com!!!) decided to correct the situation and sent me this picture of them from Canun! Meet my parents!

Q104 goes to Nickelback!

Last night, the whole Q Crew went on out to Blossom for the Nickelback, Daughtry and Staind. The show ROCKED!
Over 22,000 people were on hand for the show! Plus, Where's Waldo?
Jen Toohey, me, Skippy the PD and Tim Richards. (Yes that is a cup of green olives... I love them)
Skippy the PD accused me of wearing a wig last night. He said my hair looked fake. You can decide for yourself.

A High School Buddy Gets Married!

This was a first for me. My best friend from High School got married this weekend and asked me to stand up in his wedding! I had a blast!! He was the first of our 'High School Group' to get married, so the wedding served as a sort of reuinion for the North Farmington High School class of 2003. Oh, and you can add weddings to the seemingly endless list of things I cry at!

The happy couple just seconds after saying 'I Do.' I'm the one in the back with a totally goofy smile.
This is me with the groom, Chris and our other buddy Ryan. The three of us used to have a band together in high school called CBQ. I played keyboard, Chris was the drummer and Ryan played Trumpet. (We also had a bass and sax player not pictured). It was great to get to hang out with these guys again!
Then there was the garter toss... Chris' favorite part.
We talked about this last week on Relationship Thursday. Notice how the girls are dancing and there are no guys! We were most likely catching up or at the bar grabbing a drink... Why do girls LOVE to dance so much?

iPHONE MANIA!

This past Firday the iPHONE was released at at all Apple and AT&T stores nationwide. People started lining up at 6:00 in the morning for the 6PM release of the phone! The scene was insane! Some people were selling their spots in line. I talked to a guy who was selling Spot #10 for 200 dollars! Others were being paid to wait in line. All this for a phone?
Look at the rules that Legacy Village had for the people wanting to be the first to own the iPhone!
And then there was the crowd!
